Mount Kilimanjaro Video

So I know this is overdue but I have been working on it for the past week to make it good. Drum roll please....

I'd love to know you thoughts and comments on this video! Any parts you loved? Anything you didn't?

  1. I loved every bit of it! I hope you continue to blog about your experiences; I enjoyed reading this blog so much! You have inspired me to do something equally extravagant during my lifetime :) If that is climbing a mountain, I know where to go for advice!

  3. Megan-I'm so happy to hear that you love the blog! As soon as I'm finished up with my thesis I'm going to blog about a few trips I've taken in Southeast-Asheville, Disney, Naples. Maybe I'll even do Athens the next time I come to UGA to visit!

Alaina-I am so flattered! You are so sweet! I'm glad my happiness comes through because it was definitely a once in a lifetime experience :)

  4. Hi Amanda,

I love your video and love your blog! I plan on climbing Mount Kilimanjaro at the end of January 2012! Your blog has been VERY helpful ~ thank you:) I am going alone ~ don't know anyone brave enough to do it with me! I am so scared and so excited at the same time. I think I am going with Alpine Ascents and will be making a decision soon. Did you feel very sick at any point on your climb? I am not sure if I should take Diamox at the start of the trip or only if needed. Everyone says something different. I am sure I will email you before my climb with more questions if that's ok? I love your adventurous spirit! Laura

  5. Hello Amanda,

I came across your blog when I was doing some research on Mt. Kili. I wanted to discuss an affiliate partnership with my company - AlienAdv.com, which is a platform for adventure travel. We really believe that real traveller experiences and reviews are what is needed to give an accurate idea of such a trek and helps to prepare for such a journey. Do let me know if you would like to collaborate with us on this. I would love to get on a call and answer any questions that you might have.
