Adventure is Out There!

I travel not to go anywhere, but to go.  I travel for travel's sake.  The great affair is to move.  ~Robert Louis Stevenson

When given the chance to go on an adventure, do you usually take it? When it comes to travel adventures, I’m on board all the way. At first glance I may seem to be just a fun-loving, preppy girl who has a Lilly Pulitzer shopping habit, a love for cooking, and an over the top adoration of my yellow lab Bella. But when you get to know me, you’ll quickly figure out that one of my favorite things in the world in to travel. Usually if I’m in one place for more than a few weeks I’m already planning what trip I’m going to take next.

So when I got the opportunity this past summer to study abroad for the second time in my college career, I jumped at the chance. The program I went on was a Global Classroom program through the Darla Moore School of Business at University of South Carolina. My class, IBUS444: Business In Africa, took us abroad to a really exotic country: Tanzania. The two week trip with my professor and fellow students was an incredible learning experience, but my real adventure began when the class ended.
